Speaking of Bowie ...

A pretty cool find has turned up on YouTube ... footage from an unreleased video for “Sense of Doubt” from Heroes. What th-??

(Confidential to Jim D.: I’ll put this up against OUR videos any day!)

(h/t to Jim Ivy for pointing me to this)

I've read about this in reputable books on the subject but never thought to look for it on UT. Hmm.

Now that I've watched it, it DOES look like it was shot with Dave's old camera! Didn't Lou Arnold direct that?

On a similar note, I was watching some SCTV the other day. I Was A Teenaged Communist. Great stuff. I couldn't help but notice that when Martin Short flicks a switchblade, the lights reflecting off of the blade cause burn-in on the camera for about 7 seconds! Ha HA! Just TRY explaining "burn-in" to teenagers today! They'll look at you as if you were mad. And this was top line pro equipment of the era - costing SERIOUS MONEY!
